Statement Of Faith

1. The Bible:

We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the ultimate source of truth and guidance for all aspects of faith and practice.

"All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness." — 2 Timothy 3:16

2. The Trinity:

We believe in one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and co-eternal.

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit." — Matthew 28:19

3. Jesus Christ:

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.

"For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form." — Colossians 2:9

4. Salvation:

We believe that salvation is a gift of God's grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. It is not by works but through faith alone that we are saved.

"For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast." — Ephesians 2:8-9

5. The Holy Spirit:

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. The Holy Spirit empowers, guides, convicts of sin, and comforts believers.

"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you." — John 14:26

6. The Church: We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. The Church is the body of Christ, of which He is the head.

"Now you are Christ’s body, and individually members of it." — 1 Corinthians 12:27

7. The Return of Christ:

We believe in the physical and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ to judge the living and the dead, to bring His Kingdom to fulfillment, and to reign forever and ever.

"For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first." — 1 Thessalonians 4:16

10. Christian Living:

We believe that Christians are called to live a life of holiness, love, and service, empowered by the Holy Spirit. We are called to share the gospel and make disciples of all nations.

"But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: 'Be holy, because I am holy.'" — 1 Peter 1:15-16

"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another." — John 13:34

11. Christian Marriage:

We believe that marriage is a sacred institution ordained by God, defined as a covenantal union between one man and one woman. It is a representation of the relationship between Christ and His Church.

"For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh." — Genesis 2:24

"Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her." — Ephesians 5:25
