What does the Bible say about you being a daughter of the King?
Here are the 16 Bible verses that I have chosen for you to study about what it means to be a daughter of the King.
Who you are as a daughter of The King
1. You are worth dying for!
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. " John 3:16
God loves you so much that He sent His Son, Jesus to die on the cross to cover your sins. It is impossible to live a sinless life. There is absolutely nothing that you can do to pay the price of your sin (big or small) except that you can choose Christ.
God created you to have fellowship with Him but He is Holy. The only way for you to come into God's presence is by accepting the sacrifice made by Jesus on your behalf. When you surrender your life to God and invite Jesus to invade every area of your life - you get immediate access to Him.
So come into your King's presence often!
2. You are chosen.
" Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, " Colossians 3:12.
God chose you! That means God thinks of you as His precious daughter. That also means that you and I have to act like the daughters of the King.
We are God's representatives on earth. We have been made in His image and therefore we must display His characteristics to the world. That is not always an easy task to display compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience but the more time you spend in God's presence, the more you become like Him.
3. You are redeemed
" In him, we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace " Ephesians 1:7.
You are redeemed! God has given you His grace. He has redeemed you from your past, present, and future sin. You have God's grace to talk with Him, to commune with Him all the time.
You have to remember though that you are not perfect - neither of us is but we are under construction. We are continuously becoming more and more the daughters of the King that He has created us to be. So press into God and thank Him for the redemption you have received through the blood of Jesus.
4. You are empowered!
" I can do all things through him who strengthens me. " Philippians 4:13.
Here is an encouraging reminder that without God you can do nothing, but with Him all things are possible. With the help of the Holy Spirit, you can do hard things. With God's help, you can do the things that God has created you to do.
5. You are free from condemnation.
" There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." Romans 8:1.
Did you realize that as a daughter of the King - God, there is no condemnation that comes from Him?
Nothing that you have done in the past, present, or future cannot be covered by the sacrificial blood of Jesus on the cross. So let go of the guilt and fear of your mistakes. Run straight to the throne room of God and allow Him to pour out His grace on you that He purchased for you through His Son, Jesus.
6. You are unique
"I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well." Psalm 139:14.
You have been uniquely created. There is no one else on the planet like you. God created you specifically for His delight and for you to represent Him to the world with the unique gifts that He has created you to have and use. You are God's unique daughter, created in His image.
7. You are royalty
"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light." 1 Peter 2:9.
You have been born into the family of God - a royal priesthood. You are the daughter of The King and that makes you His treasured possession. That is a good thing to be God's possession.
It means that you have direct access to the King of Kings all the time. God has brought you out from the darkness and into the glorious light of His presence.

8. You are His masterpiece!
"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." Ephesians 2:10.
I am sure you have witnessed some beautiful sunsets. God is the greatest Master of artists. He has created the most amazing masterpieces, but sunsets are not His greatest masterpiece.
God's greatest masterpiece of all creation is you! And God has prepared amazing things for you to do. You can read a short devotional all about what it means to be God's masterpiece HERE.
9. You are beautifully made in His image
" So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them." Genesis 1:27.
Imagine that! God created us in His image!
You are so precious to God. Do not forget that you are of great value to God. He thinks so highly of you that the Creator -Elohim, created you to reflect His image.
Related: Elohim- Name of God meaning Creator.
10. You are worth more than rubies!
" An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels." Proverbs 31:10.
We are told in Proverbs 31 that a woman who fears the Lord is worthy of praise. If you fear the Lord which means that you revere Him and seek His presence, then you my dear are a precious jewel or ruby!
Do not think that if you are unmarried or divorced that Proverbs 31:10 is not relevant to you.
Did you know that Jesus is your Bridegroom?
The Hebrew name for God, Ish expresses God's unending love for us and we see that very clearly through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ who died on the cross, to become our bridegroom. You can read more about this Hebrew name of God HERE.
11.You are a joint heir with Christ
"and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him." Romans 8:17.
When you choose to believe that Jesus is your savior, you then become a child of God and through the grace of God you are elevated to the position of co-heir with Christ.
That doesn't mean that every day is easy but you do have access to your most glourious Father, who is the Creator of the earth. Nothing is too difficult for Him to do in your life. God invites you to join with Jesus as a co-heir to access all the riches of Heaven. You can read a list of the characteristics and Hebrew names of God HERE. They give you a glimpse of all that is yours as a joint heir with Christ.
12. You are a temple of the Holy Spirit
"Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own" 1 Corinthians 6:19.
As a daughter of The King you are host to the Holy Spirit. So be careful of your words and actions. Consider how you should live inwardly and outwardly as a temple of God.
13. You can come fearlessly into God's presence.
" Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need." Hebrews 4:16.
We never have to be afraid of God. We should have reverential fear, meaning that we have a respectful awe, of Him. But God does not want us to lack confidence when we come to Him in prayer. You can read a short but powerful devotion about how you can boldly approach the throne of grace HERE.
14. You are created with a purpose
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11.
Do you ever wonder about God's plan for your life?
The answer to that question is found in Jeremiah 29:13. The secret to learning about God's plan for your life is found in His presence. We need to practice Jeremiah 29:13. We have to seek God with all of our heart. You can read a short devotional on Jeremiah 29:11-13 HERE.
15. You are cared for
"so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love,18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth,19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God." Ephesians 3:17-19.
These Bible verses are part of a prayer that the apostle Paul prayed over the Ephesian church. He wanted the people to comprehend how much God loved them. When you know the love of Jesus Christ in your life - everything changes!
It changes how you view people and situations. Your heart becomes more hopeful and purpose filled!
16. You are strong
"Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6.
Moses spoke these words to the Israelites as they were about to enter the promised land. It was a scary time for them. God had promised the Israelites a land that would be theirs but there were giants that lived in this land and people that did not revere the name of God.
Moses told them that God, Himself would go with them on this journey and that they did not need to be afraid.
Where are you on life's journey?
